£795.00This Cashmere Throw has been beautifully made in the Kinloch Anderson 150th Anniversary Sundial Tartan. It is opulent and the height of luxury, made from luxuriously soft 100% Pure Cashmere natural fibres.
A cosy and warm throw or blanket with many uses for the home, as a throw in front of a warm fire or adorn a bed as a cosy blanket. For outdoor events on a cool day this blanket can be the perfect knee warmer! It offers supreme comfort and elegant style however you choose to use it. The ultimate treat for yourself or as a gift for that special someone.
The deep colours of the tartan add to majestic feel of this blanket. The tartan sett is based on the Anderson Clan tartan, thereby recognising the Company’s original name of William Anderson and Son’s Ltd. The tartan colours have been chosen to reflect the sandstone shade of the Sundial, the green of Inverleith Park where the Sundial is located, the blue for the Water of Leith where the Kinloch Anderson Company has been located since 1990, three gold lines which represent the three Royal Warrants which the Company holds as Tailors and Kiltmakers to Her Majesty the Queen, His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, and six fine burgundy red lines are for the six generations of the Company’s family ownership and management.

The cashmere used in the production of this throw has been approved by the Sustainable Fibre Alliance. The SFA is a non-profit international organisation working with the extended cashmere supply chain, from herders to retailers. Their goal is to promote a global sustainability standard for cashmere production in order to preserve and restore grasslands, ensure animal welfare and secure livelihoods.
Our clan tartan cashmere throws contain no hazardous chemicals and no AZO dyes are used in production.
Made from 100% pure cashmere which is gently brushed to create a very subtle and delicate ripple effect across the surface. Superbly soft and incredibly hard-wearing, our clan tartan cashmere throws offer a luxurious finish to any home.

- To maintain the finish of your throw we would recommend gentle brushing in the direction of the fibre with a clothes brush to ensure minimal fibre disturbance. Only brush in the direction of the fibre. As all our products are made with natural fibres, over time, pilling may occur. The best treatment for this is to use a pilling comb to gently remove any fibre pills. We recommended dry clean only due to the delicate nature of the fibres. If necessary, spot clean with a clean, damp cloth and blot any excess moisture, but do not rub as this will cause fibre distortion. Finish by pressing with a cool iron over some tissue paper.
