Argyll

Gaelic Name: Earraghaidheal
Argyll is a west coast Scottish county (high land of the Gael) which was assimilated by the Gaels with the establishment of the Kingdom of Dalriad. The tartan was first recorded in the 1819 Key Pattern Book of Wilson of Bannockburn as "No 230 or Argyll".
