Connell

Gaelic: Conall
Badge: Boar's head, framed by two wings
The Connell name comes from Ireland and is found in Scotland with various spellings: Connal, Connell, Connel, Connall, including MacConnell.

It may also come from the Irish Saint Camgall (c.510-c..600) or from Conall Cernach a legendary Celtic warrior.

Clan Donald claim all variations of the name as one of their septs.  The tartan is in the Provost MacBean Collection c.1890 now in the Inveness Museum
