Thormanby Buccaneer Bay

The Thormanby Buccaneer Bay tartan represents a lasting legacy, a special symbol of the kinship the inhabitants all share for the island, their heritage and each other. The tartan will be available for all the Buccaneer Bay/Thormanby community to wear with pride and be recognized by the highest authorities as the authentic article that can be worn on and off the island and at any social event. The 4 colours of the Tartan are reflective of the following: blue reflects the Ocean/Strait of Georgia surrounding Thormanby Island; green reflects the trees and forest of Thormanby Island; yellow reflects the sunny beaches, sandy coves and inlets of the island; red/orange reflects the stunning sunsets we get on the Pacific West Coast.
