Culloden

This design is said to have been worn by Prince Charles Edward's attendants at the battle of Culloden 1746. These days it is woven in rather bright colour shades although at the time it was thought that the shades were not bright. This is confirmed in
 D.W.Stewart 'Old and Rare Scottish Tartans' (1893) in the silk plate of it. It can be used by anyone regardless of clan affiliation etc.
