Forbo Nairn

The Forbo Nairn Tartan was designed for Forbo Nairn Ltd, a Swiss based company with two factories in Kirkcaldy, Fife. The tartan design was based on the Nairn tartan because the company is associated with Michael Nairn, builder of the first 'floor cloth' (linoleum) factory in Scotland in 1847
