Douglas Kinloch Anderson has received an Honorary Life Fellowship award for his 50 year membership to the Institute of Directors (IoD). He received the award from Ian MacKay, IoD Scotland Chairman.
Mr Kinloch Anderson joined the IoD when he was barely out of university. He said: “My father was a member of the IoD and when I was in my twenties he suggested it would be a good idea if I joined, and I’ve never regretted that. I’ve made a lot of use of my membership and have really appreciated all the events that have been organised. I joined on July 12, 1963 and it’s hard to believe it’s 50 years, although I can’t claim to make it another 50 years.”
Ian MacKay, said: “Douglas is a wonderful example to other IoD members of how to sustain and develop an international business. Kinloch Anderson is a strong brand name that is well known not only in Scotland but increasingly in all corners of the globe.”
