The Scottish Tourist Guides Association has commissioned their very first tartan in readiness for Glasgow 2014. Well-known Archaeologist/Historian and TV Presenter, Neil Oliver, popped into Royal Kilt makers, Kinloch Anderson in Edinburgh, to be measured for his new kilt.
The tartan was designed and specially woven to commemorate 50 years of professional tourist guiding for the Scottish Tourist Guides Association in 2009. Only the 500+ professionally accredited Tourist Guides in Scotland are entitled to wear it.
